Desert Recreation District Cooling Centers Are Ready for the Heat
With temperatures rising across the Coachella Valley, Desert Recreation District is reminding residents that Cooling Centers are available to provide a safe, welcoming place to escape the heat.
Extreme heat can be dangerous, especially for older adults, young children, individuals with medical conditions, outdoor workers, and residents without reliable access to air conditioning.
