In celebration of our 75th anniversary, we continue our special video series titled “Stories from the Valley.” Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing powerful glimpses into the rich history and hidden gems of the communities we serve.

In this episode we feature North Shore, a community the sits along the shores of the Salton Sea. We speak to a variety of folks who grew up in North Shore and discuss the history of DRD’s North Shore Beach and Yacht Club, which went from celebrity hot spot back in the day, to a vibrant recreation facility and community hub today.

If you have never visited the North Shore Beach and Yacht Club, it is an amazing building created by renowned architect Albert Frey and the view is jaw dropping. We are so excited to see what the future holds for North Shore and thrilled to be a part of it. #drd75
