Desert Recreation District’s Scott Sear Honored with CSDA’s Ralph Heim Exceptional Public Outreach & Advocacy Award
INDIO, Calif., – The California Special Districts Association (CSDA) has presented Scott Sear, Public Information and Legislative Affairs Officer for the Desert Recreation District (DRD), with the Ralph Heim Exceptional Public Outreach & Advocacy Award at its 2025 Annual Conference.
This award is one of CSDA’s highest individual honors, recognizing exemplary public outreach and legislative advocacy on behalf of special districts across California.
“It is such an honor to receive this prestigious award from CSDA,” said Scott Sear. “This recognition would not be possible without the incredible team behind me, the continued support of our Board of Directors, and the dedication of every team member at DRD.
