Get ready for an adventure like no other! The Great DRD Hunt is a community-wide scavenger hunt designed to challenge your wits, teamwork, and sense of adventure. Participants will follow clever clues, explore hidden spots, and complete fun activities spread throughout our parks and recreation facilities.

Participants should refer to the email they received immediately after registering. Instructions are provided there to download the Eventzee app, acknowledge the rules, and electronically sign the waiver.

Clue Release Schedule:

• 9/20 – 9:00 AM – 25 clues released
• 9/27 – 9:00 AM – 25 clues released
• 10/4 – 9:00 AM – 25 clues released  

Clues are written in a variety of formats, including quizzes, selfies, movies, photos, and QR code scans. All clues are provided in both English and Spanish.

Participants may complete clues at any time during the three-week period (Monday–Sunday). Some clues require entry into recreation centers. These are marked with ( i ) and participants are prompted through the app to check the DRD website for current center hours. Any challenges that are not accessible will be clearly noted.

We are excited to share that all participants can ride for free with SunLine Transit during the three weeks of the event! Simply show the Event Page on the Eventzee app to ride at no cost.  Folks will be responsible for figuring out their own routes.

At the culmination of The Great DRD Hunt, please join us for our 75th Anniversary Community Celebration on Saturday, October 11, from 6:00–8:00 PM at La Quinta Community Park.
