Indio, CA — The Desert Recreation District (DRD) announces that the American Red Cross will conclude its evacuation operations and services at the Palm Desert Community Center (43900 San Pablo Ave., Palm Desert) today at 1:00 p.m.

DRD extends sincere thanks to the American Red Cross, Riverside County Animal Services, the City of Palm Desert, and our dedicated DRD staff for their tireless efforts and compassion during our community’s time of need.

While we look forward to welcoming back our gymnasium users, this area of our facility will remain closed until 2:00 pm today to allow our team to clean, sanitize, and prepare to welcome back our scheduled programs and gymnasium users.
