North Shore offers community fun.
With a growing number of younger families moving to North Shore, the community is seeking more ways to enhance the quality of life of its residents. The Salton Sea State Park provides free community events, including various holiday activities, kayaking and bird walks. In addition, the recently restored North Shore Beach & Yacht Club, which is owned by Riverside County and managed by Desert Recreation District, is a significant part of California's legacy. DRD is exploring new ways to make this historical landmark a vibrant recreational resource for North Shore and surrounding communities. To Get Your Fun On even more, check out Indio, Mecca and Coachella. Click here to view the latest version of DRD's Activity Guide for your community.
