Fitness Workshops - New

Not sure how to enhance your workouts? Has your body hit a plateau? Learn new exercises to maximize your time in the gym with these interactive workshops taught by our certified personal trainers. Each workshop will teach you how to correctly work out one body area and give you various exercises to add to your fitness “toolbelt.” Add some variety to your fitness routine! Step Aerobics

This class will utilize STEP REEBOK’S dynamic cardio workout, which makes this a great class for both men and women and for the beginning to advanced exerciser. This class is taught by our very own fitness guru, Julie Hirsh.

Zumba

Everyone, every shape, and every age loves Zumba! It’s the Latin fitness dance craze sweeping the nation. Zumba is a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system with upbeat, international music and dance steps. The instructor gives you non-verbal cues telling you what to do. That way, you can listen to the music and feel the beat. It’s a great way to exercise and have fun. No matter your fitness level, you’ll love Zumba! Small Group Training   New

Join our Certified Personal Trainers for an intense workout designed to assist you in meeting your fitness goals. This 6 week session meets 3 times a week and is a great way to have affordable training, get results and meet new people. The trainer customizes a workout program designed to fit the group’s needs. You can sign up as an individual or get your family and friends to create your own small group. Each session must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 participants.

Body Composition Analysis  New

Body composition analysis is an important diagnostic tool that is part of a balanced health assessment. These measurements are extremely valuable health information and are used for chronic disease risk assessment, individualization of exercise prescription and evaluation of the efficacy of intervention. The Body Composition Analysis is a comprehensive service that will measure: (Body Mass Index) BMI, Percent Body Fat (Fat Mass), Lean Body Percent (Fat Free Mass), Basal Metabolic Rate, Total Body Water (Hydration Level).

Basic Service: A 15 minute session that includes a printout of your body composition analysis and scale measurements.

Intermediate Service: A 30 minute session that includes the analysis plus a 15 minute consultation with a personal trainer.

Advanced Service: A 45 minute session that includes the analysis, plus a 30 minute consultation with a personal trainer.

Tabata Extreme New

Tabata Extreme is high intensity interval training that pushes both the aerobic and anaerobic thresholds. Maximize your workout in this group exercise class that will push you to the limit. The Tabata protocol produces remarkable results with bragging rights of burning more calories than traditional group exercise classes. A Tabata workout is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause 8 times for a total of four minutes, repeated 10 times. Class is designed for intermediate to advanced exercisers.
