The District is unable to assume responsibility or liability for injuries or accidents that occur because of or during activities involved with the District’s programs, special events, parks or facilities. Our goals are for you to have a safe, fun experience. Please exercise care both in and out of our facilities.

Join Us
Desert Recreation District membership is no longer required to participate in programs. Facility use passes provide access to the gymnasium, track, and weight rooms and are available to purchase either for single day use or as an annual pass. Acceptable proof of residency (e.g. current utility bill) and photo ID are required for annual membership.

Annual Facility Use Pass
$25 Indio and Palm Desert residents
$50 other district residents
$120 non-district residents
Facility Day Use Fee of $5 with Picture of ID.

Program Registration
Registration for all programs is open and ongoing until classes and programs are full; registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stop by and allow our friendly staff to process your registration. Or, you may now register online. Some programs fill quickly and they are subject to change, so please call first.

Payment for Programs and Activities
Payment for an activity may be cash, check or Visa card ($20 minimum purchase required). Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to Desert Recreation District.

A $25 service fee will be charged for each check that is returned for insufficient funds. Sorry, no payment plans or billing are available. Refund Policy: Refunds are given only when The District cancels the program or activity. Refunds are not available for Facility Use Passes.

Resident/ Non-Resident Fees
Desert Recreation District encourages non-residents to participate in our programs for a slightly higher fee. Acceptable proof of residency (i.e. current utility bill) and photo ID is required for first-time registration.

Photo policy: The Desert Recreation District reserves the right to photograph facilities, activities and program participants for potential future use. All photos will remain the property of DRD and may be used for publicity or promotion purposes only.
